How to properly prepare your skin for the arrival of summer?
To prepare for the arrival of summer, you must of course buy a new bikini but also prepare your skin for tanning! For this, I will give you some advice.
Basically, our skin is not prepared to absorb UV rays. Hence the importance of protecting it from the first exposure, to avoid burns and premature aging of the tissues. But how do you ensure a top-notch tan without ruining your youthfulness?
1- We adapt our diet to boost the skin from the inside
Having a nice tan starts with our plate. Bet on foods rich in beta carotenes: carrots, tomatoes, apricots, green vegetables… They will stimulate the synthesis of melanin and prepare your skin for tanning. Also add valuable vitamins and antioxidants to your menu: vitamin A with fatty fish (salmon, mackerel), and products rich in vitamin E with vegetable oils and cereals.
2- We dare food supplements
In addition to a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, you can supplement your preparation for the sun with solar capsules. These food supplements are enriched with antioxidants, beta carotenes and essential fatty acids, which helps to fight against dryness of the skin and premature aging of the epidermis, but also to ensure a more intense tan, for longer.
3- We adopt a weekly exfoliation
There's nothing like before summer to illuminate your complexion and your body by eliminating dead cells and stimulating cell renewal. Your skin will be even more sublimated and your tan too. Note however that exfoliation does not help to tan more but to tan more beautifully.
4- Moisturize your skin well
Once the skin has been exfoliated, it is important to moisturize it well. Milks, creams, you have the choice to find what suits you best. Also remember to apply your care after the shower to avoid feelings of tightness. But above all, don't forget that good hydration also means drinking a lot of water!
5- We equip ourselves with good protection
From the first rays of sun we tend to see people exposing themselves without protection, serious mistake! The first exposures are often the most dangerous and the most harmful for our sun capital. In addition, many of us still believe that sunscreen will prevent us from getting a tan. This is completely false, since betting on a high protection index such as SPF 50 is the right reflex to avoid wrinkles, to enhance and prolong the tan, but also to stay healthy.
There you go girls, I hope I have contributed to your amazing tan this summer!
