Want sun in winter? Take off for Guadeloupe!

Do you miss the sun, the heat and the ocean? Want to go this winter but you don't know where yet?

Mademoiselle Bikini makes you discover some of the good plans / spots discovered in Guadeloupe last March… immediate take-off on this island where you will find idyllic beaches, a volcano, a tropical forest, tasty cuisine and a warm welcome!

To swim and bask in the sun, Mademoiselle Bikini recommends:

The beach of Sainte Anne for its "natural swimming pool" with translucent waters and its small restaurants with their feet in the sand which serve you smoked chicken and Creole dishes for a few euros.

La Caravelle beach with its fine sand, coconut palms and coral reef. Commonly called "Club Med beach". Better to go to the end of the beach which is quieter!

The immense beach of Bois Jolan, 2km of white sand. Much wilder than the previous 2. Don't forget your hammock so you can take a nap under the coconut palms and trees that line it!

If you want to take a tour of Basse-Terre, take the crossing road, stop to swim at the crayfish waterfall or go for a walk on the treetops at the Mamelles zoological park…

Going up to the north of Basse-Terre, the idyllic beach of Grande Anse framed by hills, for its calm, its ocher sand and its rollers!

If you don't know where to sleep, here is a small hotel very well located between Sainte-Anne and Saint-François. The Amaudo hotel, spotted on Trip Advisor, has kept all its promises with its 10 rooms, all of which have a fantastic view of the islands and the sea, its infinity pool, its lovely hosts…

If you are still hesitating, the breakfast should finish convincing you…!

Don't know where to dine? You will find good restaurants almost everywhere, for all tastes and all budgets... but don't hesitate and run to "Chez Vincent" on the port of Saint François.
Restaurant Chez Vincent in Saint François for the super warm welcome, the dishes, the old rum as a digestive and even the bill!

What do you put in your suitcase before leaving?

Swimsuits of course!
A dark swimsuit for the start of your vacation, when your skin is still a bit pale, or a nicely low-cut one-piece swimsuit.

After a few days, when your complexion is a little tanned, dare the fluorescent color that will bring out your tan!

But don't forget, in the tropics, you protect yourself from the sun with a high index cream and a hat.
